Anza-Borrego Desert State Park - California

Yesterday I went to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. It was a really neat place. The park reminded me a lot of Joshua Tree National Park which I went to a few years ago. Joshua Tree National Park is only a few hours away from Anza-Borrego so the similarities are not surprising. Here are some pictures from the hike:

San Dieguito County Park - San Diego County, California

I really enjoyed walking at San Dieguito County Park today. The trail leading around this pretty park took about 45 minutes or so to walk. Here are a few pictures from today:

Bamboo on the other side of a fence next to San Dieguito County Park.
Part of the trail leads beside a road.
There are a some places on the trail where you can see mountains in the distance.
